About Me
He has had a camera in his hand…for 50 years.
From commercial projects, to intimate moments in family life, portraiture and celebration, Linley ‘s photographs are a testament to his life-long obsession for depicting nature and humanity. His passion drives him to seek the space where the emotion of the moment will resonate for decades onwards.
Linley’s 2019 exhibition featured historically and technically significant, never-seen-before images of the Rolling Stones, shot during their 1973 concert at Melbourne’s Kooyong Tennis Stadium. Uncovered in his vast photographic archives, they are a priceless catalogue of the very few colour photos from that time and have undergone a present day transformation into large format images for clients to purchase and treasure today.
His travels to Hungary Greece, France and Aspen in the 70’s have also been curated from this unique catalogue of images and are now available for all to share.
Linley’s work with film stills has proven to be an ongoing love affair, and he finds that a medium format camera in black and white continues to reveal the magic which inspires his photography. This, along with colour transparency scanned to digital, fuels his desire to share new creative ways to explore taking pictures.
